Griiled Lemon Chicken with Oregano


Lemon and chicken are a natural pair. It true that just a dash of lemon does wonders to elevate the flavours in a dish? This will be your base meal and can continue with this in a health conscious direction.

Makes 4 servings

Ingrediants

The juice of 1 lemon                                                          1 tablspoon olive oil
The zest of 1 lemon                                                            4 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
1 bunch fresh oregano,chopped                                          cooking spray
Salt and pepper

Directions

STEP 1 : Combine lemon juice,lemon zest,oregano,oliveoil,salt and pepper in a large bowl.Whisk the ingredients together and set aside.
STEP 2 : Trim chicken to all fat and slice each with 2-3 pieces.Place the chicken in the marinade and cover.Soak for half an hour at room temperature.Plce it overnight in the refrigerator.
STEP 3 : Heat a grill pan to high heat and coat in cooking spray.when grill pan is hot,place chicken in pan and cook thoroughly,about 7 minutes per side.
